Final conference of the GreenPlay project

Final conference of the GreenPlay project

After two years of intense work, the GreenPlay, a project based on the “Juga Verd Play” competition model of the Baix Llobregat region (Spain), comes to an end.

The Green Play project is led by the Sports Council of the Baix Llobregat (Spain) in partnership with Hämeen Liikunta and Urheilu ry (Finland), Società Sportiva Lazio (Italy), Fundaçao Sporting Clube (Portugal), Sport et Citoyenneté (France) and Institut per la Social Research (Italy).

The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and seeks to encourage positive educational values in the practice of team and individual grassroots sports among children and youth.

The basic premise of the project is that if you want to educate in values, the goal of getting more points than the adversary cannot be the only condition to win the game; values and civic behaviour also count.

To conclude the project, the partners organize a final conference to share and assess their experience.

The event will be taking place at the Nuria Espert Theatre of Sant Andreu de la Barca on the 22nd of November and will bring together representatives of European institutions, regional and local authorities, sports organisations and associations, and experts from different countries to exchange knowledge, experience and good practice on the topic of Sport Fairness.

You will find the conference programme by clicking here.

The registration is totally free and can be completed until November 16 at 12:00 via the following link.

The registration to the event is requested to access the venue.
