European project Green play has been launched last February!<\/strong><\/p>\n Green Play project, led by the Consell Esportiu del Baix Llobregat, was launched on the 6th<\/sup> and 7th<\/sup> of February. This project is financed by the \u201cErasmus+ programme\u2019\u2019 and aims to promote educational values of sport for all, both for team and individual sports, among children and youth. To do so, the project will be based on the successful \u201cJuga Verd Play\u201d methodology implemented by the Consell Esportiu in the Baix Llobregat region.<\/p>\n The basic premise of the project is that if you want to educate in values, the goal of getting more points than the adversary cannot be the only condition to win the game; values and civic behaviour also count.<\/p>\n In this sense, another unique characteristic of the project is the integration of all the target groups that participate in competitions in the assessing process (audience, families, referees and coaches)<\/p>\n Thanks to an app, the behaviours of all the competition\u2019s target groups involved are assessed according to several requirements linked to fair-play and the values of sport.<\/p>\n The Green Play methodology will be tested in the Sporting Foundation multipurpose club in Portugal, in the Finnish Sport federation of the Tampere region in Finland, in Societ\u00e0 Sportiva Lazio Basket in Italy and in the Consell Esportiu del Baix Llobregat in Catalonia. The Instituto di Recerca Social will be in charge of monitoring and assessing the behavioural changes in the target groups.<\/p>\n As partner of the project\u00a0, Sport and Citizenship will oversee the identification of international best practices, draft policy recommendations based on the project activities and organize the final conference in Barcelona.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
